Efter nästan tre decennier av gränsöverskridande ljudlandskap återvänder SUNN O))) – Stephen O’Malley och Greg Anderson – till Sverige för två exklusiva konserter: 16 juni i Göteborg och 17 juni i Stockholm. Duon har sedan starten omdefinierat tung musik genom att förena avantgarde, drone och rock till ett uttryck som är omedelbart igenkännbart och kompromisslöst eget.![]()

Konserterna följer släppet av bandets tionde studioalbum SUNN O))), deras första nya fullängdare sedan hyllade Pyroclasts (2019) och debut för det legendariska bolaget Sub Pop. Inspelad i Bear Creek Studios i Washington präglas skivan av en stark känsla för rum, natur och dynamik – där ljus och mörker, tyngd och stillhet vävs samman i expansiva kompositioner. För första gången står O’Malley och Anderson själva för all instrumentation, vilket har öppnat upp nya kreativa möjligheter och fört deras samspel till nya nivåer av intensitet.![]()
